The seed that we sell is produced here at our own facility via our own pollination efforts and is never wild collected!

This particular batch of Sarracenia seed was produced by the bugs! That’s right, we let one of our Sarracenia flava var. flava (Pender Co, NC) flowers open for the bees to pollinate! This cross could produce some intense color and variation in form as the pollen donors could be one of any of our thousands of collection plants. 

This seed set was collected in fall of 2021 and has been kept refrigerated since harvest. They are guaranteed to be fresh!

Dont forget! Sarracenia seed must be stratified for a minimum of 30 days prior to sowing for the best germination results.
